Faith Estate is located in Kirinyaga County, about 150 km north of Kenya's capital Nairobi and is owned by Cecilia Wanjiku Haniel. After picking the coffee berries, Cecilia uses a small peeler to remove the pulp, before the coffee undergoes a dry fermentation for about 24 hours. After fermentation, the coffee is washed to remove any remaining fruit from the parchment before the coffee is dried on raised beds, which gives a slow but at the same time good drying. This microlot has a fresh acidity with hints of tropical fruit and a soft fullness.
